Small box packs a big punch!
For a simple card game, this provides some incredibly agonizing decisions during the game. It all depends on which cards come out and when. The bidding system is straightforward and easy to understand, but the fact that your bidding cards have fixed values makes things interesting. Also, whoever spent the most money during the game isn't even eligible to win, which complicates your decisions further. This is a great addition to the collection, and a must-own if you like auction games.

Classic Knizia Auction Goodness
A great, compact, classic Knizia Auction game that has great artwork and a lot of meat on the bone, despite being just a coupe deck of cards. Highly recommended!

Simple and Easy to bring anywhere
Classic game. This is an easy game to teach people who normally don't play games. It is a very simple concept and easy to bring out to a bar or somewhere similar because it's only cards so it's easy to bring out and pick up.

The genesis of auctions
This is a great little game that really echos everything that is great about auction mechanics. I highly recommend this over, For Sale, if only for the gorgeous art alone.

Light yet Cutthroat Auctions (with fun art)
Best with 4 players, Plays in 15min Easily understood by adults willing to take a bit of time to learn the rules. However, the strategy in this game is very tight and is more appropriate for the experienced gamer crowd than the casual. The combination of fixed card bids, the need to not be the poorest at the end unrelated to the actual victory point tabulation and the unknown number of auctions make the decision space both rich and unforgiving, especially for a short relatively simple design. Also worth mentioning is the very cool 1920's art style on the cards, it is both well done and really draws the eye of both gamers and non-gamers.
