Rawr n' Write packs a full strategy game experience into a roll-and-write package. It's a meaty, delightful romp that players can really dig into.
As players, you'll first draft dice, then use those drafted dice as workers to carry out different actions to make sure your park runs smoothly. Next, a fun polyomino puzzle ensues as you try and fit all your attractions and dinosaurs into the limited space of your park. Just like in Dinosaur Island, you're making dinosaurs, hiring Specialist, and trying to create the best dang dinosaur theme park you can (keeping it moderately safe, at least)
Each game will see different Specialists for hire and different Buildings to construct, making for great replayability!

My wife and I are both addicted to this game right now! It's a fun roll n write game that's easy to setup and put away. There's even an app that can be used as everything except for the dice with this game so it's easy to get out and play wherever you are. We have this roll and write and the actual dinosaur island game and they are different enough to want to keep both. Highly recommend this game!

Good roll n write but there are so many better
Wish i hadn't gotten it. If it was the only roll n write out there it is solid but the market has too many that are better. Not excited to get this out to the table again

Rawr n Write
Dinosaur Island Rawr n Write is a good game in the Dinosaur Island line. I had never played a roll and write before, so I'm not sure how this stacks up complexity wise, but it is a thinky game. I would probably rank this under the original, but above Dinosaur World. Good game!

Excellent short and crunchy game
This game is perfect for two players. It is short but requires planning over the three rounds to accomplish what you want to do. Excellent overall!

A very nice roll and write game for your lunchbreaks.
I got this mostly for the solo play. And occasional multiplayer once in a blue moon. I loved the roll and write aspect of drawing dinosaur enclosures and paths and solving the puzzle of most efficient way to maximize points with the highly variable combinations of Attractions, Staff and Objective cards. I took a break from it after 10 plays, but as I am writing this review, I got excited to bring it to the table and play it again.

Great crunchy roll 'n write
I loved how this game gave me the feel of playing dinosaur island but in less time and without all the setup that dinosaur island has. I also thought drawing your park was a nice touch, there is a lot of different things you can do there and chances to mess up. Half way through one game I realized I wouldn't be able to get large carnivores because I didn't have room for a 5x5 pen. :)

Rawring good time!
We don't have the table space for Dinosaur World, or the time to set up take down e.t.c, so the Rawr and Write version hits the perfect sweet spot for my family. Dino fun and a roll n write- what can be better?

Dino Rawr & Write
If you don't have a table large enough to play either Dinosaur Island or Dinosaur World, this is a very satisfying compromise. It's simple enough that you can with any level of gamer (7 year old approved), but there is meat to the bones of this game for sure. It's thinky, but quick, has a decent amount of interaction for a roll and write, but is just as fun solo and it is super satisfying in the same way Cartographers is when you look at your finished map. Love it.
