Machi Koro 2

My son loves playing this game with me, and he's only 5 so I think this is a very fun simple family game but even adults can enjoy!

The game takes Machi More 1 and tweaks it slightly to make a more streamline and fun experience.

I have played this game twice already (Arrived 3days ago) and love it!

I never played Machi Koro (1) so I’ll focus on this version alone. Machi Koro 2 has been an interesting pick-up. At first it was not that entertaining but after playing a few games, it got more interesting but still fell a little short as the end game feels a bit rushed. I still think that I’ll keep it in my collection as some family members enjoy it. I hope an expansion comes out that adds to that end game.

This is not the one I teach new players but always use this one for veterans.

My group enjoys the original Machi Koro for its ease of play and quick pace, and #2 improves on that winning formula by introducing more variety and replayability. The introduction of new buildings and landmarks with scaling costs were easy to understand and added a new level to our play, with everyone having slightly different strategies.

Much shorter game with better choices. Slightly more strategic.

Amazing Game

This takes the good stuff from the original and improves it. It is more asymmetrical than the first, in that everyone is trying to achieve the same goal, but the path you choose can be different than your opponents'. I love having varied landmarks to purchase. Overall the changes are minor, however, they take the gameplay a step up from the original.
