Majestic Journey Continues: Century: Golem Edition - Eastern Mountains Review
Century: Golem Edition - Eastern Mountains is a magnificent addition to the already enchanting world of Century: Golem Edition. This expansion seamlessly blends with the base game, elevating the gaming experience to new heights and providing players with an exciting array of strategic possibilities. The first thing that captures your attention is the stunning artwork. The Golem Edition has always been celebrated for its visually appealing aesthetic, and Eastern Mountains takes it to another level. The vibrant colors, intricate details, and charming golem characters create a visually immersive experience that enchants players from the moment they open the box.

It's just OK
I agree with the online reviews. It's a MEH game. The game has a strategy that you have to move fast at the beginning and it feels like it starts slow. But it gets better as you put 'outposts' on the tiles. If you don't put outposts, you will feel the crunch later. I have NOT yet played Golem Edition (the first one) and I know it plays the same. But I think Golem Edition will be much better and I got Eastern Mountains to eventually play them all 3 together. But, playing it for the first time gave me the thought that if I combine it with Golem Edition then it will feel more challenging. Playing it as a single game feels meh and it wouldn't be my first pick to play again if I had a choice between the 3 of them. Component quality is just superb top notch. I only wish it had more challenging aspects. The rules are unclear and have typos. Plus the font is super-tiny so that everything fits in 2 pages. It just would NOT recommend this if you had a choice between #1, #2 and/or #3. I would say get Golem Edition First, then Endless World, then pick this one if you can find it in a goodwill store.

Great Game Expansion
My household is a big fan of the Century: Golem Edition games. Eastern Mountains was no expection, and our first playthrough was very enjoyable. We have not yet played the version that combines the base game in, but Eastern Mountains on its own was so much fun! It is a game that involves careful calculation before each move while trying to quickly and efficiently buy victory points to secure your win. Perfect for 2 to 4 players!

Pick -up and Deliver with trading and route-building in the Century Golem Universe
This is an excellent strategic route-building game. Creating a random board provides a fresh variable puzzle for each playthough. Excellent components that provide a good feel. The only thing missing are the golems. This game focuses on how to acquire the gems each village requires, If you play the Century Golem games for the golem artwork focus on the 1st and 3rd games.

Another Verse Not EXACTLY the Same as the First
It's like the first game in the series, but now you are moving a little wagon around on a tiled board that you can set up how you like. Establish little mini routes using your trading posts and find an efficient way to create the output of gems that you need to score points. Fun and puzzly and it combines seamlessly with both the original and third in the trilogy, or both!
