Kingmaker #01 Fey Dragon (C)

Whomever does not have a fairy dragon, needs one. Detail and durable for a small piece.

This thing is pretty small and I was surprised at how wonderfully painted it was. I was a little hesitant because the pictures I could find online didn't do it justice but unless I lucked out, these are really nicely painted for how little they are. Was a tiny bit expensive for just one mini ($3), but I needed a tiny dragon specifically so I took the risk. I also bought the Elemental Evil Pseudodragon for around the same price and much prefer the Fey Dragon. The Pseudodragon is smaller (which is what I wanted, personally) and I like the tall flying base, but it wasn't nearly as nicely detailed or painted as the Fey Dragon.

This is a mini made to represent Perlivash the faerie dragon from the Kingmaker Adventure Path. Given his limited role in the adventure and the relative rarity of faerie dragons in campaigns that I have an interest in running, it would have been difficult to justify shelling out $15+ for a mini, but I have a bunch of first-time players and I think the visual aide is a nice touch to the written description of what they are looking at. While this is hardly the most detailed miniature, it gets the job done without breaking the bank.

This little guy came out perfect and the pictures don’t do justice to how good the paint is irl. A little crooked from the travel, but nothing a little hair dryer heat and light pressure couldn’t fix!

Good small Mini.

This tiny dragon is quite well done. This is the rare time that I prefer the Pathfinder version of a mini to its D and D counterpart (faerie dragon).
