Summoner Wars 2E: Master Set

Liked the first edition. This is even better. It's a pity you can't use old factions (I understand - balance and changed rules).

The excellent second edition of an already amazing game. One of the best 1v1 games out there.

This mix of chess and ccg with roll for damage is an excellent game. It has great variety and allows for interesting tactics and combinations. The second edition is an improvement in almost every way with custom dice, new art and more readable card layouts. This master set has 6 fun factions and other factions can be added.

This game fit a niche for me. It plays quick enough with enough strategy for a 2 player game. It also has the right amount of components and is super easy to teach and/or pickup and play.

Way better than the 1st edition! It’s a must by if you enjoy 2-player dueling games.

If you ever wanted to get into tactical skirmish games, but didn’t want to deal with gluing and painting miniatures, this is the game for you. All characters are represented by cards rather than minis. The art is good and the components are always great with Plaid Hat Games. Rules are simple to learn; the different factions give a good amount of replay value just in the box, but expansions will give even more.

Highly recommend picking this game up if you ever played or had interest in playing table top games like Warhammer but could get past the fiddliness of the rules or expense of playing. All the factions are interesting and well balanced and the deck building, if you're interested in it, is very simple and quick as well. I love how streamlined the rules are and how all rules are oriented towards increasing the pace of play. Immediately one of my favorite games.

This is now my favorite two player game since this second edition came out. It made everything better by hung them more hit points and balancing some of the cards.

One of the most streamlined PvP or skirmish games you can find that offers countless replayability. The base game comes with 6 deck of mages where you need to tailor your strategy based on the nuances of your deck and your opponent as well that will employ a different strategy than yours. No 2 game is alike based on the card draw and decisions taken in the game.

The new edition of Summoner Wars is a better version of the game: better rules, better art, more balanced and a great addition to any collection.
