Versatile, high quality ink for a mid level painter looking to experiment

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

As an ink (not a wash), this stuff is good for tinting your colors with intense pigment or applying straight for crazier approaches. Mix it into your black for a warm black; apply it to your desaturated red to resaturate and bring it more towards a middle of the road red. Thin it and glaze onto a darker red to highlight into a neutral red. All kinds of great uses.

Not great for shading miniatures

Average rating of 2 out of 5 stars

This stuff is very bright, as an ink it flows into all the grooves and recesses but because it is so bright it does not work well for bringing out detail. It creates a strange effect with the eye that I think would only be good when you want to HIGHLIGHT the recesses instead of darkening them.
