Formula P3 Skorne Red Paint

I reviewed this paint a while back and noted that it really was not as helpful for scarlet or any bright reds. I have changed my mind after using a couple of bottles and think it is not just a darkish red. It has more of a red with slight brown but is not a true red as Khador red might be considered. It is clearly better than I originally thought as I've now used multiple bottles. Give it a try and hope you too find it a useful color.

P3 Skorne red is a very good paint because it coats especially well for being such a fine vibrant red.

Skorne Red is a darker red than the Khador red base and it seems a little thinner than most of the P3 paints. What is unexpected is that it is a bit of a dark red with orange so think of this as dark British uniform scarlet if that makes sense. It does work well though if used as a Russet Red where one paints a dark brown/black ink combo on it so give that Thirty Year or English Civil War dull reddish/orange/brown look. This is not a vibrant color nor is it a dark or rich red so not a substitute for Khorne Red if using Citadel. Still, good color and does paint on well as the P3 paints do for the most part. Recommended if looking for the darker reddish/orange look.
