Draconic Dice

Fun little dice game.... Good price.

Draconic Dice almost seems to play itself. Each type of symbol, or lack thereof, has a prescribed play associated with it. Three out of the four possible sides have no decision associated with them. The fourth side is the only one that has a decision, and that is who to assign it to. This may seem simple, but not as simple as some might think. The idea is to be the first to have no dice left in hand, so it would seem that giving dice to the one with the least would be the way to go. However, a central discard pot goes to the person that does not roll that symbol, so if the person has only one or two dice, you may not wish to increase their chance of rolling the symbol so that they end up having to pick up all the dice in the pot. So, not as many decisions as most dice games, but it does move fast and is easily playable even by youngsters as watching the results is almost as much fun as trying to win. As a note, the dice appear to be of good quality. I am thinking of using some of them in an alternate method because of the symbol distribution and quality. A good, if not great purchase and the Miniature Market price was a good value, even if just for the dice.

I love this game!

This is a fast filler game, very simple just roll dice but nice for what it is. Don't expect more but I enjoy what it offers. I likely will pick up another set so more of us can play while we wait for others to arrive for game night.

All you need for this is the 20 dice in the box and a flat surface to roll on. It's a nice small game for the suitcase of a traveler, and a quick way to engage with others.
