Redgrass: Painter Lite - Hydration Paper Sheets (50)

This is the kind of product which should be very straightforward, and that's exactly what these hydration paper sheets are. They do the job they are supposed to, keeping your paints from drying out (in my opinion) more effectively than home-cut parchment paper. The price point is quite reasonable, and the pack of 50 sheets lasted me several months of consistent painting. The sheets fit reasonably well in the redgrass wet palette, more so than the army painter sheets (which I found to be significantly too small for this wet palette, but which would work in a pinch). If I could change one thing it would be to make them just a few millimeters larger in every dimension to get more usable space; they leave a bit more of a margin on the palette sponge than I feel is strictly necessary. Would recommend!

These little sheets work, but not as well as I'd hoped. Here's the good: They're small. Ready to go. No fuss. When put into water they curl-up less than other paper. Downs: Get water saturated quickly. Does not keep paint consistency over a 3 hour period. Fitted for Army Painter palette only. I mean, they work, but i only use them for quick projects. I don't recommend, but that's for my style and needs. Could anyone use these? Sure. Just be aware that you should compare to parchment paper before committing.

Work great with the Redgrass wet palette. I got sick of cutting up my own paper and these fit perfectly and last through plenty of painting session with downtime in between.

The red grass wet pallette is fantastic, and that’s partially due to the paper quality. Easy to use, easy to stop curl, stays the right amount of wet during painting.

In general, I love the Redgrass wet palette, the hydration paper for it is amazing. My paints stay nice for well over a day and the fact that it is pre-cut to the size of the palette is super convenient.
