Downforce is our restoration of Wolfgang Kramer's classic. For nearly 40 years, this card-driven racing game has been the delight of gamers and families. Known by many names - Top Race, Daytona 500, Cleveland Grand Prix - we bring it to you now as Downforce.

Fast-paced and easy to learn, Downforce offers the thrill of racing reduced to is essence. Players get their cards, bid for their cars, and the race is off. Betting during the race gives players a chance to back their favorites, even cars owned by other players. Can you get to the turn before them? Can you back the right car to collect your bet? Every turn and every card make a difference.

This restored version features:
1. A gorgeous, double-sided board with two different tracks.
2. Six player power, giving each player a unique advantage.
3. Detailed plastic race cars.

Ages: 14+
Players: 2-6

Excellent Game!
Fantastic racing game with some twists. Instead of simply wanting your car(s) to win, you can also bet on your or other cars AND can control other cars. Everyone I've played this game with has loved it. There is strategy with enough luck to keep things interesting. Can't recommend this game enough for anyone who likes racing or simply enjoys a really good game!

Good game for a froup and with kids also.
Its a very good party game. You have a card hand and when you play a card all cars move, not just yours. You also have choke points where you cant pass other cars, so you cant just race straight ahead and win with good cards. Scoring is through winning and making fictional bets on whatever cars you want to finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd, including cars that are NOT yours. Therefore you have to try to play your cards so you can win and choose who "loses" in the correct order.
