Unmatched: Marvel - Hell's Kitchen

Very fun skirmish game that has a lot of expansions in the series. You can enjoy a quick 20 minute game a longer 40 minute games based on player count. I like being able to cycle through my deck and find cards that will give me what I need when I need.

Another unmatched game for the collection, nothing crazy with this box. Elektra is great to play.

This is my first Unmatched game and my teenage son and I love it thus far. It’s super thematic, with each fighter feeling very different. I will probably pick up another Marvel aet or two after playing this one.

I was surprised at how balanced the players were. This is my first of the Unmatched series and I think I will continue to collect, both in and outside of the Marvel-licensed characters.

Bringing the sharp and fast design of Unmatched to the Marvel Universe, Hell's Kitchen is a great entry point to the game for marvel fans everywhere. As in every unmatched box, the included characters are represented by a pre-built deck of cards, a life dial and a (pre-shaded and quite well sculpted) miniature, the art is top notch, and you'll be surprised at just how well crafted everything is, down to the amazing (and functional) insert and punch board (which you should keep under the punch board to keep things tight in the box). the game is a combination of hand management and positioning on a map board, rewarding knowledge of your foes deck as much as your own, it feels quite balanced and yet with enough distinction amongst characters. Daredevil i’s a strong close-combat fighter with great mobility, he goes through his cards to do combo damage to his foes Elektra is quite thematic, with a short life as a hero, and the ability to resurrect as a villain with some assisting Hand ninjas in tow (ninjas are some nifty, shiny plastic tokens printed with a great logo), providing for some variety in her playstyle. and the big baddie being Bullseye, a highly mobile sniper able to gain additional moves and shoot into zones other than his own. And of course, there is the option of bringing your characters into brawls with any other deck in the unmatched franchise, from bruce lee, to t-rexes and yeah, other marvel properties, the game can be as wide and diverse as you want to invest. Though not on the cheap side, Unmatched: Hell's Kitchen is a great buy for Marvel fans of New York's blind hero, and a great gateway into the existing games in the series, looking forward to other marvel properties coming in.

Unmatched truly delivers

It’s more Unmatched!!! Unmatched is a phenomenal, competitive game system, with each deck representing the characters perfectly. This expansion is no exception. Elektra can die, then resurrect with new powers (just like the comics), Daredevil can battle past the point of exhaustion and Bullseye can hit other fighters almost anywhere they may be on the board. If you like Unmatched, there’s no reason you won’t like this add on. It also can stand on its own, so it’s not a bad place to start if it’s your first set(although I would recommend one of the 4 character starters, particularly Cobble & Fog)!

I bought this just for Daredevil, but Elektra and Bullseye are so much fun to play as well. Another hit in a LONG line of superb releases. I own every UnMatched set released and will continue to support it!

We are long-time Unmatched players and have every Unmatched set and character that exists. These characters are so fun to play with and offer unique skills not previously found in Unmatched characters (Bullseye's range, Elektra's ability to swap places with the Hand sidekicks, and Daredevil's ability to refill his deck). Elektra is an interesting character to play with or against, as she resurrects with different capabilities! Unmatched is a great two-player game, and this set continues the outstanding quality we have come to expect. We love the art, the boards, and the ability to mix & match characters from different sets.

Can't get enough of the Unmatched system. And adding Marvel is great. Can't be more excited.
