This expansion includes the double-sided game board Balearica/Italia, featuring the Balearic islands of Ibiza, Mallorca, and Menorca on one side and Italia, the center of Roman power, on the other.
This expansion contains in particular the Forvm Piscatorvm (Latin for "fish market") variant that can be combined with any other version of Concordia. The fish-market adds new layers of strategy to the game.

Great Expansion for Concordia Veterans
The fish market adds a new way to take actions. Instead of getting a bonus good with a Prefect card, you get fish. You can spend fish on your turn at the fish market for additional resources or actions. It expands the options players have on a turn in fun ways, but that can increase analysis time. The 'new' maps are good (one of them is from the original Concordia), but the game has too many maps already. If you just own Concordia Venus, I recommend getting Salsa first. (ALSO, if you own CONCORDIA, you should be buying Balearica/Cyprus for the fish market, instead of this one.)

A must for the Concordia Purist.
Great map, that adds a small dimension to an already great game. Worth it for the Concordia fan.

Fun new boards.
I ordered this to get access to the the fish market mechanic. Haven't played yet, but looks like a fun way to add more nuance to the game.
