Maximum Apocalypse RPG is based on the boardgame of the same name and takes place after the fall of humanity. It is a post-apocalypse open-world system that combines elements of EVERY conceivable end-world scenario: Alien Invasions, Nuclear Holocausts, Seismic Upheaval, Killer Robots, Undead Zombies, Time Paradoxes, and even the Rapture. Characters are survivors who are built based on their Primary and Secondary "Archetypes" (see classes), such as Gunslinger, Hunter, Scientist, etc., experiences and age to give number to a series of stats and that work as roll-under thresholds for d100 dice rolls.
The game combines combat actions with crafting actions, giving the characters opportunities to scavenge for goods and create the items necessary for their survival. They can break apart things they find in the environment to maintain tools, build shelters, and make weapons. Ultimately, this makes for a One-stop-Shop when it comes to immersive, post-apocalypse gaming that is both simple enough for narrative styles and interactive enough for everyone.
