Great Cooperative Game
Hanabi’s simple ruleset makes this game a quick one to teach. Trying to get your minds on the same wavelength to give/get the best clues to help you know what cards you have, and the. Trying to remember which is which, leads to some tense and hilarious moments. This is my second copy of Hanabi because my previous copy was so worn out. Great game. Can’t recommend it enough.

Fun party game
Love this game, was a fun game to play with 5 people as we all started getting more and more poignant. The closer you are to the end the more intense people get

Maybe Antoine Bauza's best game!

Boom!!!
At our monthly game night - players of all levels and games of all kinds - this is one we ALWAYS play, always. Such a unique concept with a deck of cards. How much do I tell? To whom to I give a hint? Do I discard? The choices. A fantastic game!

An Excellent Family Game
Hanabi is a great filler game playable with even the most hesitant gamers. There will be plenty of laughs, groans and possibly yells as players struggle to determine when and who to give clues to, and when is the right time to play a card. Over time, your group will develop some synchronicity as you start to understand what deeper meaning a clue might have. Highly recommended as a filler game. Plays great at all player counts.

Great, fun, hard and can give Analysis Paralysis
Just like other cooperative games from Antoine Bauza, this game is hard to win, specially going to the perfect score. Still it is really fun, you try to math your way out but there´s always a lack of information. We enjoy it a lot, and it gave us some analysis paralysis but not enough to feel overwhelmed by the game. My only complaint is the artwork, the drawings are not memorable and the back of the card being grey look kind of bad.

Very deep mechanic for a simple game
The game is about cooperation to fill the fireworks lanes, its about sharing the right information and helps to make the TEAMWORK feeling between players, that could help to break the ice in a social gathering. A good Casual game that could be player as a heavy filler (since could last more than most fillers) Totally Languaje dependant for playing, since its about colors and numbers, saddly not so friendly for Color Blind. This game was a big hit in 2014, and many people were amazing how a simple component game could be that fun and with great complexity.

Wait, where did put the blue 3 again?
Hanabi is a simple game to learn, but it's not easy to win. That doesn't mean it isn't fun, just the opposite in fact. It's better with more people than less, but it's still enjoyable at 2 players. I like the artwork on the cards and the tokens and my wish for maybe something more than just cards and cardboard chits is negated by the 10 dollar price tag. At that price, it's a no brainer. Recommended.
