Dark Heaven Legends is the premier 25mm Heroic Scale fantasy line for miniature painters, roleplayers and wargamers. The Dark Heaven line has produced over 1,300 fantasy miniatures designed and crafted by the top miniatures sculptors in the world.

The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

First giant I’ve gotten from the reaper lines. Much smaller than the wizkids/pathfinder counterparts. About the same size as the ogres I’ve gotten from the Reaper lines. Nice figure just wish it was a little bigger.

a good giant, and fun to paint.

a good figure and a good size, only problem i have with it is a problem with most of dark heaven's line; whatever material they're using does NOT like paint on it. i don't mean priming or the normal painting process, i mean after i put on a finishing coat of clear varnish, their figures always stay a little sticky. i have no idea why this is. and sad to say, this figure is no different.

Excellent value for a great miniature with good detail.

I agree totally with the other reviewer about the pose of this miniature. It's incredibly useful as an NPC or enemy. As with all large reaper bones this miniature takes paint well and it's easy to get some amazing details out of it with simple basecoating and dry-brushing techniques. There are not that many cloud giant miniatures out there and this one is one of the best and most inexpensive. As with all reaper bones remember to wash the miniature before painting (even though they say you don't have to just wash it to avoid issues), use natural hair brushes and get a good solid basecoat reaper paint, army painter or any equivalent.

Unique figure

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Yephima is a very unique giant model. As cloud giants are about 1/2 good and 1/2 evil it's very useful to have a friendly looking cloud giant mini for those occasions where PCs will be interacting with a helpful giant NPC. The pose makes her look as though she's bending down talking to a human sized character. I don't have any non-combat oriented giants other than her so the mini fits this specific need quite well. She is armed with a massive caryatid column which means she can still be used as an enemy or as an allied NPC in combat situations, just as you would with any armed humanoid mini. At the price I got her for on Miniature Market she's a steal. The quality of the sculpt is among the best in the Bones line and the plastic is a bit firmer than most other Bones minis I've painted. Just be certain to wash it well before painting as a couple of the areas where her hair meets her body are deep and mold release can be hiding in those areas. Overall, this is one of the nicest and most unique giant minis I've ever owned. The fact that it isn't in an attack pose is it's biggest strength. Seeing as how every other giant I found on Miniature Market seems to be in mid attack (as they should be) this mini fills a role playing need the others can't.
