Dark Heaven Legends is the premier 25mm Heroic Scale fantasy line for miniature painters, roleplayers and wargamers. The Dark Heaven line has produced over 1,300 fantasy miniatures designed and crafted by the top miniatures sculptors in the world.
The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Detail and Character, awesome mini
Awesome mini. Lots of hidden little details you don’t really see until you get in there and start painting. The character of the piece is great, too.

Excellent model with a substantial amount of detail. Well worth the price.
Great model with plenty of detail for those that like to paint. The Reaper Bones plastic is indestructible, but can be difficult to paint. Use an automotive wet-sandable spray primer or artist's gesso to prime and you should have no problems. Minimal mold lines. The feet of mine did not quite sit flush, so I used hot water to fix. Highly recommend this model.

Great model!
This is a perfect companion to the Mushroom Men, also available from the Reaper Bones line. The sculpt is just dripping with detail and character. The proportions are a bit cartoonish, but that's what makes this model stand out from the bulk of the tree people on the market. I accidentally dropped the model onto a concrete floor while gluing the arms and head to the main body, and the Bones plastic is unscathed, whereas a metal model would have been immediately damaged. This resilience is one of the chief advantages to Bones products from the perspective of anyone who has butterfingers moments, kids, or pets.
