The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Perfect for Halloween !
This guy would be perfect for a Halloween-themed one-shot as the BBEG! This mini has a lot of detail work! Even the back, which shows off an exposed spine. Really looking forward to painting this guy!

Spooky
Very detailed and creepy miniature, I recommend priming all reaper and bones brand models, using actual miniature paint, otherwise some can become sticky if using crylon paint.

Great halloween monster
This is a very detailed mini. I personally don't plan to use it until halloween, but I'm sure it could be used for non-holiday related encounters. The scythe is attached to the hat, so it bends sideways. This makes it look more like a flag than a weapon, but some paint can fix that. Personally, I think this would be great for a diorama involving halloween, assuming other halloween minis can be found.

Excellent larger scarecrow for use in D&D and Pathfinder.
This miniature can be used for several monsters in D&D and Pathfinder. Most notably some sort of harvest golem. There is also a creature in Warhammer Fantasy that closely resembles this creature that is part of a novel. It's a great Halloween type monster that has a lot of character. This miniature is larger than a normal "medium sized" creature.
