The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.
Details:
25mm Heroic Scale Fantasy Miniatures
Integral Bases
Polymer Models
Miniatures are supplied unpainted. Preparation and assembly may be required.

I was looking for a small bear but got all these at a great price. Great to have on hand for future adventures.

Wild Shape
Player's character turned into a bear the day I received it, good timing.

A very good pack of beasts
I really like this set as I'm always looking for animals that are the correct scale. This gives you a nice variety (although I'd love a pack of just bears and just wolves). Decent detail and really easy to paint. Very good minis and great to use as wild/companions/beast shape, etc in game.

Figure List
Like most Bones figures, these are a cheap alternative to metal figures, and have a fair amount of detail even unpainted (personally, I actually prefer them that way). They're great for players who need a familiar or animal companion (Wizard, Ranger, etc), or even as animal forms for classes than can change into them (Druid). And, in a pinch, they can be used for ordinary animals in the wild. The only real downside is that three of the figures came still connected, and you'll almost certainly need to cut the extra off and trim the bases in order for the figures stand properly. Personally, I had to use an Exacto-knife and file to trim them down enough. Still, when compared to higher-end models, these are definitely a value bargain. For those who can't quite make out what figures are in this pack from the picture (a problem I often have with multi-figure sets), the five animals included are: Bear Wolf Panther (or similar-looking large cat) Eagle (or similar large bird) Beaver (or bear cub with a bushy tail)

Adds a cute flair to your party
Many rpg characters get a pet after a while. These are perfect both in size and price to represent those pets.
