Dark Heaven Legends is the premier 25mm Heroic Scale fantasy line for miniature painters, roleplayers and wargamers. The Dark Heaven line has produced over 1,300 fantasy miniatures designed and crafted by the top miniatures sculptors in the world.
The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Nice & Creepy Rat Dude
Big and scary-looking, and larger than anticipated. There are some minor gaps that a bit of green stuff will go a long way toward fixing. The fur detail is excellent, too, so I'm looking forward to putting a brush on this guy.

This looks great at a great price, but was a lot bigger than I was wanting.

Very nice Miniature!
The newer Bones series miniatures from Reaper are very nice! The newer stuff is stiffer, though still flexible and holds great detail without most of the bendy molding issues some of the old Bones minis had. Minimal mold lines too. The Giant Wererat has great detail and great character. You'll probably want to mount it onto a wider base even if you're just using it for role-playing, as the integral base is a bit too narrow for the height and pose of the model, making it a bit 'tippy'.
