Dark Heaven Legends is the premier 25mm Heroic Scale fantasy line for miniature painters, roleplayers and wargamers. The Dark Heaven line has produced over 1,300 fantasy miniatures designed and crafted by the top miniatures sculptors in the world.

The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

The hobgoblin veterans are pretty cool. I really enjoyed painting the twin swords model, and its quickly become one of my favorites. The other mini is alright, and turned out looking okay, but the shield and sword are a bit janky and thin. Still completely worth the money.

Best choice for hobgoblin PC's and NPC/enemies!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

These bones hobgoblin figures are great and very versatile. The more heavily armored one works well as a commander of a goblinoid host or (for PC's) a paladin, fighter or (as I used him) war cleric. The eastern design of his armor really matches the aesthetic of hobgoblins in 5e's published materials. The second figure is basically a barbarian, which is good because it gives some variety in the humanoid monsters. Lots of great detail in the random bits of armor that have been patched together in it's outfit. Would be good as as a PC barbarian, and it's easy to picture him as the other hobgoblin's henchman, bodyguard, or champion. Bones has another set of hobgoblins that compliment this set nicely, if you're trying to make a hobgoblin army, mercenary faction, or rival party as part of your campaign. That set includes a female, which are often underrepresented in monster minis (except the obvious ones like succubi).
