Dark Heaven Legends is the premier 25mm Heroic Scale fantasy line for miniature painters, roleplayers and wargamers. The Dark Heaven line has produced over 1,300 fantasy miniatures designed and crafted by the top miniatures sculptors in the world.
The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Impressive on the table
This mini was well made and the was not too bad to assemble-the spear arm took a couple tries, but once I realize the key was to line it up with the butt of the spear on the cloak it clicked. The sword is a bit wibbly-wobbly, but not so much so that I’m worried.

Very detailed but size and price maybe a let down
The sculpt is very detailed and well made. It comes in parts and doesn't fit 100% without some fixing but no issues with mold lines. Even though it is a huge size in the Bones line it is only a bulkier large in the WizKids line so be aware of the heights of giants from the different brands. Also doesn't have a proper base but isn't an issue as packs of them can be brought. 6/10

aside from the missing pieces it was good
the miniature i received was missing the right horn as well as the crest on his helm
