The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

It's a giant
This is an easy to assemble multi-part model. Not a big fan of the bendy plastic but it took primer well and should hold up well to use. The head was a bit small in proportion to the body but seems to work. I am a mediocre painter at best but this was easy to work with due to the larger detail that was a good balance of interest without being cluttered or miscast due to complexity. Have not painted the lion yet due to trying to find a better base for it but the model was solid and not warped and should paint up easy. A great figure to add to your monsters.

Two nice and chunky figures for a good price. Medium level of detail, and do keep in mind that some assembly is required (it's very simple to do, tho).
