The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Perfect
Reaper really uped the game with resin minis.....in the 90s miniatures were static and for an artist not easy to modify ....spuncast resin is cheap and very nice and moddeable....if you mess up you can just replace and try again..,.. with out you wallet empty and broken hearted..... though it makes a lot of sense to finish so you dodave a backlog pile of shame as high as your chair

A Fun miniature.
For such a common archetype, it is somewhat surprising how few companies have made 1930's female pilot miniatures. This is a lovely model with sharp details on the whole (For Bones). My only complaints are that the revolver is a little soft in sculpt, and that her cheeks and brow seem to protrude a bit strangely. I expect both of these to look better after I finish painting the miniature. It is worth noting that she is at the slightly larger end of the common range of gaming scales. From top of her cap, to the bottom of her boots she stands about 35mm tall, and almost 40mm on her putty base.
