The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Good to see some samurai minis
Reaper never disappoints with their miniatures yes they’re a little soft but once you run them under some warm water and bend them to where you want their perfect miniatures.

Samurai!
Great sculpt! It is the best so far of a samurai in full armor ive seen! It’s a great representation of a samurai in full armor. The resin is easy to paint, easy on your brushes, too! Great addition to the line!

Exquisitely detailed. Worth your time.
This is my first Bones mini, and it's not for the faint of heart. Extremely fine details make for a painting challenge, but the result is fantastic. This mini is made of seams and mold lines so exercise a lot of caution when scraping them with the requisite sharp hobby knife. Sanding is not recommended due to the soft plastic material and potential for loss of detail. Once that's done, break out the fine detail brushes and customize Nakayama-san to your heart's content. It's a lot of work, but patience and perseverance deliver show-worthy results.

Great miniature
I love this mini, I was looking for something different to paint and picked this up. First off you can’t beat that price whether you are getting this for gaming or just want something fun to paint, the quality is very good and shows a lot of detail.

Awesome Samurai figure.
This mini is loaded with tons of detail. Great for any setting that allows the Samurai class or samurai themed characters in other settings (time travel, alternate universe, vengeful ghost, temple guardian, or rampaging robot at "Samurai World").
