The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

A good "Law Dog" figure.
A nicely detail gunfighter with a badge, she can be anything from a town sheriff to a Texas Ranger. The sculpt looks nice, but isn't a particularly exciting pose, but her gun is out and she looks ready for trouble. She'll fit in a Deadlands game well, and a little sanding will get rid of the badge if that is preferred.

The Law 'round these parts
The female Texas Ranger gets the job done. Not much more you could ask for, really. The model is obviously a lady without being offensive about it. She's got fancier looking clothes than the male Texas Ranger and has her badge out on display. I think the badge choice makes her a bit less versatile as a figure, relegating her to Law enforcement of one kind or another, but she's very solid as such. The female Ranger may not be able to pull off generic gunfighter as well as the male Ranger, but she looks the part of the Law a bit better. This is another good sculpt for bones, nothing is so thin as to be bendy,
