Do you wanna have a good time?
I got back into the Witcher books and then found out that it had a tabletop game. Naturally I had to have it. No regrets :)

The Witcher TRPG Core Rulebook
Fantastic book. This is a combination of a player's handbook, DM guide, Monster Manual, and even a short adventure. Rules are slightly more complicated than D&D, but still easy to learn and understand.

Witcher Core Rulebook - Essential, but a bit painful
Contentwise, the Witcher Core Rulebook is useful and enjoyable. However, from a rules and mechanics manual point of view, it leaves a lot to be desired. The layout, clarity, and explanations of game mechanics are hard to deal with. Artistically, the book is enjoyable, but as a core rulebook for an RPG, a little less focus on art and a little more on being a technical guide would have been appreciated.

Crunchy but cool
The book is written and formatted a bit...different than most (or all?) other TTRPG rulebooks I've read. It jumps around sections for rules, fluff, characters, etc. And some parts are written in a way to sort of break the immersion of reading rulebook, and it's sometimes more like a talk over some beers. The rules are a bit crunchy, both in character creation and combat. But the game seems very immersive and really buys into the Witcher universe. I'd definitely recommend it for fans of the Witcher.
