Deadlands is set in the Weird West, an alternate history where mysterious beings called the Reckoners have given life to monsters and magic. California has shattered into a labyrinth of flooded sea-canyons, and a mysterious super-fuel called "ghost rock" has spawned as much war and strife as it has "steampunk" devices. Players are steely-eyed gunfighters, card-slinging sorcerers called hucksters, mysterious shamans, savage braves, mad scientists, and more who battle against evil.

I have never a run a game like this so having all of these high quality components in one box is really helpful for a beginner.

Fantastic system, Great setting
The box had everything we needed, and it has been a blast. SWADE is a great system and using it for Deadlands has been a blast. A great stepping off point from other, more mainstream systems.

There’s a lot of stuff in the set and it’s slightly cheaper than if you get things separately. The graphic novel size of the rule book keeps things light; but the smaller font size is harder to read than the Deadlands Reloaded books. Art is not quite as good as in Reloaded. Art on the screen is great though the screen is less high than Reloaded. Everything in the box is very snug; it’s a little hard honestly to get the lid off and to pry things out, but it will fit an additional book in the space.

This is one of the best ttrpgs on the market and this bundle is a great way to start playing
