A clear and beautiful day at sea! That's what you had planned when you left port this morning. Unfortunately, the ocean is often fickle, and today has turned out to be no exception. Now you must face a variety of hazards before you can reach safety! Can you navigate the troubled waters to return to port with your boat (and your sanity) intact?

This is Texas Showdown by Mark Major re-themed.

Fun and Clever Trick Avoidance!

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Seas of Strife is a fun little card game. We've played it as a filler mostly. The idea is to avoid taking tricks as much as possible and good luck with that! It's been quite fun with 4 and 5 players. We haven't played with 6, but I bet it's fine. I'm not sure if I'd want to play with less than 4. All in all, it's a fun card game that we have thoroughly enjoyed.

Great for higher player counts

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This trick taker excels at higher player counts. Your goal is to lose tricks, but the game offers you increased opportunities to cull your hand of threatening cards while foisting tricks on other players. Simple enough to play with family. There are designer's variant rules included, which are my preferred way to play.
