There has long been a debate in the scientific community: Which creature is mightier, the Whale or the Giant Squid? At long last, you can decide! The Whale and the Giant Squid are pitted against each other here in battle! But wait - Will they attack each other? Or will they attack your poor escaping people and their boats? Let the battles begin!
In Survive: The Giant Squid mini-expansion for Survive: Escape From Atlantis, players add an additional creature, The Giant Squid - and it is hungry! With its long tentacles, The Giant Squid can not only reach into boats to attack people, but it can also reach onto land to chomp on people, making your opponents' people on land vulnerable as well! The Giant Squid adds a whole new twist to the great game of Survive Escape From Atlantis.
Survive: The Giant Squid mini-expansion is compatible with Survive: 5-6 Player and Survive: Dolphins and Dive Dice mini-expansions, each sold separately.

Nowhere is safe from tentacles
This small expansion adds Giant Squid, represented by cute squid meeples. They are tied to wales, in that they move on the wale die face and are summoned by wale tiles, but you get the choice of which creature to move or summon. Squids pull meeples off the shore and out of boats. They can kill wales and vice versa. That makes a nice risk reward for using the squid to clear out a blockade of wales waiting to sink your boats, but if another play rolls the wale face, your friendly squids become a liability as they selectively pull people out of boats. This definitely make the game more cut throat, which we love. Throw in the 6 player expansion with the variant to use all the meeples and you have a gloriously fun bloodbath on your hands.

It is not even safe to be on land anymore!
This expansion is a great addition to an already great game. It definitely makes the core game more interesting!

Even More Chaos!
This is a fun expansion to an already very fun game. But I am sure you know that if your looking at the expansion. The Giant Squids add more chaos fun allowing them to snag people from the land. It will be even more tougher to Survive this ocean bloodbath. I recommend this expansion and its a very low price.
