An ancient game of ornate skulls and dangerous roses, Skull is simple to learn but dangerously difficult to win. You must bluff, lie, and pierce through the deceptions to expose the roses. Be wary, though - if you happen across a skull, the consequences are dire! Players will hold three rose cards and one skull. Add a card to the pile in front of you and when you feel lucky, announce your challenge and declare how many cards you will flip. Cards that show a rose are safe, but if you expose your opponent's hidden skull, you lose one of your own cards. Keep your cards to the bitter end to win this clever game of deception and perception!

Should be in every collection
This game should be in everyone’s collection. We always take it with us on vacation. We typically play with 5-6 people. Usually teach it at three. The printable directions on BGG is much better than what comes in the box. Those directions are detailed but make the game appear more difficult than it really is. Perfect for blending gamers and non gamers.

Easy to understand but happy when play

Love this game! Get 2 copies and play w/ 3-12p
Love this game! I got the 2nd edition to combine with my 1st edition for games w/ 7+p. This bluffing/bidding game has been a huge hit with my family&friends. A small variant has been added to extend play for those who are about to lose their last coaster... I'm not sure it was necessary but you can easily leave it out. The coaster art has been spruced up slightly. So you CAN tell the two editions apart... but it's subtle. Overall it's a great party game... highly recommended

This game is hit or miss
the game is about reading other players and trying to strategically win 2 challenge rounds. Hoenstly, about half of our gaming group enjoyed it. 1/4 of which loved it. And the rest were sort of Meh.
