Multiplayer slay the spire is awesome
This is very true to the source material (video game) and the components are amazing. While it takes a bit to set up out of the box (sleeving all the cards etc) it's not bad in future plays as the insert is well designed and functional. The gameplay is just great. It's multiplayer slay the spire and the interaction between players (co-op) makes for some cool combos and unique game play compared to the video game. If you liked the video game and you like board gaming, then this is a no brainer in my opinion. If you DONT like the video game, then I don't think this board game version will change that... but i do like the board game version more than the video game myself based on my first few plays. The interaction with my friends and new avenues to combo between characters is awesome.
