While most of Westeros calls them Wildlings, the people inhabiting the boreal forests and arctic tundra north of the Wall name themselves the Free Folk. They may appear less an army than an unruly mob, but the Free Folk manage surprising tactics and stunning victories against other forces with much more advanced armaments. In addition, the Free Folk have allied themselves with the titanic northern giants, each one an army unto itself. To underestimate the Free Folk in battle is truly the shortest route to the grave.

the best swarm army - cheap and cheerful

From Beyond the Wall
This is a nice set of miniatures representing the Free Folk--those barbarians that live beyond the Wall manned by the Black Watch. While not as powerful as the more conventional forces of the Seven Kingdoms, they do get pretty unique troops such as the savage giants, who can just devastate units they come in contact with. This set includes the full rulebook, map, terrain markers, and everything you would need to play the game with the exception of an opposing force. When combined with other available units like the War Mammoths and other infantry units. My only complaint is that the giants don't seem as big as they should especially when combined with the War Mammoths. A lot of miniature companies like Reaper make bigger giants, and as deadly as these are on the battlefield, I would have liked to see a more visually impressive figure.

Excellent wargame
The wargame is excellent, and in the best seting ever. The miniatures are high quality, love them, and the game itself, the best army level wargame in the market.
