Manufacturer: Cool Mini or Not

While a swirling melee is not optimal positioning for any dedicated archery unit, the Thorn Watch crossbowmen wield light arms and armor, and train extensively with longswords, allowing them to withstand direct assault which would scatter ordinary archers. Adept commanders will avoid such outcomes if possible, but can rest easy knowing that the Thorn Watch will not wither in the face of a surprise attack.

That said, their true strength is the crossbow, capable of puncturing even the heaviest armor. Proper positioning allows these troops to blunt even a vanguard's advance, and protect melee troops from archers or even cavalry.

Each miniature is supplied on a 30mm base.

Must have for any Renely army list

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This unit has great-looking miniatures and must have playability for Renely army list. looking forward to getting them painted up and causing headaches for my opponent.

DnD

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Although I do not play a Song of Fire and Ice I use these minis for Dungeons and Dragons. CMON never disappoints when it comes to quality miniatures. and the plastic on the Song minis seems much higher quality than some of their recent zombicide stuff. When it comes to DnD large numbers of figures, for cheap, that are already assembled really adds to the realism and options without adding to my work as GM. I highly recommend this line for anyone interested in flushing out DnD NPCs
