Patrolling the streets of Meereen, one of the three great Slaver Cities, are the Brazen Beasts. Established by Daenerys Targaryen, the Beasts are so named for their bronze masks, molded into the shape of fierce animals such as large cats, raptors, and bears. Their numbers are formed from the freedmen and shavepates in the city and were established to assist the Unsullied, who were often targets for assassination during their patrols.
The Brazen Beasts lack fear, charging headlong into danger, eager to strike at opponents at close range, despite the moderate armor that they wear while roaming dark alleys.
