It remains a running chuckle amongst the Night's Watch brothers that the Builder Stone Thrower insist that their mobile siege platforms are decidedly not catapults. The Crews maintain that the massive catapults that defend the Wall itself are defined by their varieties of specialized projectiles, earning them the more vaunted name. And yet, when a Stone Thrower sends a hundred-pound boulder rolling through enemy ranks, crushing troops even in the heaviest armor, no one much cares about the distinction. While deadly and powerful, the Stone Thrower is cumbersome to move, and quite vulnerable to enemy cavalry.

Good unit, not so good miniature
Similar to the Scorpion Crew, I like the unit; it adds a different play aspect...I think the miniature is underwhelming however. There’s so much that could be done with the large solo tray and a single siege engine... but it wasn’t.
