Great sand color.
A great sand color for miniature terrain.

Fantastic Bone Color for Speed Paints
I'm a Vallejo guy. I buy everything I can from that brand since it just clicks with me. I tried out their new Xpress line and noticed it was missing a bone color, so queue up ArmyPainter's Howling Sand. This is an excellent addition to my collection and handles skulls, bones, tusks, and parchment very nicely. I do the typical black primer - grey zenithal - white dry brush on everything and this works pretty well. It doesn't separate the blacks from the greys as well as some other richer pigmented paints, but then again it specifically ISN'T a richer pigmented paint, so it makes sense. Just adding that in to get a real, honest review.

Very nice color
This speedpaint is a light sandy color, somewhat greyish. I like it a lot for things like stone floors, sun-bleached wood, and even goblin skin for a pale-type goblin. Deduced one star because the first time I tried to squeeze some of the paint out of the bottle, nothing came out, and then the lid popped off, spilling paint all over. So just be careful that doesn't happen to you. Great paint though!
