Star Wars Unlimited TCG: Spark of Rebellion - Two-Player Starter Set

I've been able to play a couple of games. Game is pretty fun. Easy to learn Especially if you are familiar with similar games. Would recommend if your looking for magic but star wars. Plus it has cards only available in this set

Amazing starter set, the game is incredibly fun and fast paced. Anyone wanting to start with SWU should buy this set. Some cards are exlusive to the starter set so it is also important for collectors and the cards are really useful even in advanced Decks.

The starter set for this game exceeded my expectations. The back and forth mechanic vs. play your entire hand mechanic in many TCGs made the game play more enganging. Additionally, it forced you to change strategies mid round. The dark and light side decks are balanced well. Dark side is more agressive with attacks, while the light side deck provides healing. Even if you are unsure about investing in booster packs ( I already went to the local games store and bought $20 worth) this starter deck could be played stand alone for at least 12 games without getting boring. My only critic is the flimseyness of the token pieces. I would have gladely paid a few bucks more for thicker cardboard tokens. The updgraded plastic ones are too pricey for a cheapskate like me, and could easily be avoided if the cardboard pieces had been higher quality. Overall, if you are a Star Wars fan and a fan of TCGs, this is a no brainer buy.

It feels a little strange to get in on a TCG right at the start but so far Star Wars Unlimited is very fun and adds some fresh twists I didn't know I was missing. Easy to learn, this starter kit has everything you need to start playing in just minutes. These two decks battle each other very well and are great for learning the structure and flow of the game. Even after buying some more cards I still use these decks. The starter mats are also quite handy for learning. The only thing that needs an upgrade are the tokens, which are paper and difficult to pick up off the cards. If you're a fan of trading card games and even a minor fan of Star Wars you'll probably dig this.

Fast paced game that really hits the mark.

A great starting point with balanced decks to pay against each other. Even played against a Luke starter deck in an open deck game, has competitive capabilities with minor card change outs.

The card art is great and I am enjoying thr back and forth gameplay. It's quick to pick up and they do a good job of making the deck builds interesting. Their icon system seems confusing but it's not. You basically choose a hero or Villan faction and then pick an aspect and get access to card specific to Hero or Villian and a pool of cards available to both sides. The base serves as a nice bonus to unlock different aspects etc... if you want a mixed aspect deck. Technically you can play any card but the penalty is steep if you don't have the right (or enough) icons so I'm guessing it'd be rare to see someone play something totally out of left field during gameplay. It's a fun head to head game. I also recommend laminating the paper playmats included in the game. They are super helpful when learning or teaching the game.

inally a game that covers everything but absolutely everything. Strategy, enjoyment and speed of the game. Everything is 10+.

if you are looking to get into a TCG game set in the Star Wars universe this is a great start for you and a friend

I’m really enjoying Unlimited! Games are quick and fit within my current lifestyle restraints. The starter decks included are really well balanced in my opinion.
