Art not very suitable for jigsaw

The art for Everdell is incredible, but it does not seem to work in the jigsaw format. Too many pieces are just the muddy green color variants. A good 20% of the puzzle is just pitch black. This is a great challenge to jigsaw enthusiasts, but for a casual Everdell player - would not recommend it. I had some fun completing it, but it fell off towards the end, when the only areas leftover were completable just by matching the shape of the pieces rather than the content of them. Had one duplicate piece and one piece missing (not sure how to get replacement, still looking)
