Evocative components, fun family game
I think the components are kind of the best part of this game. The tiny beach buckets, the waves of sand, the 3D shells -all really help lean into the theme. It’s a fairly quick, family weight game. So far only played 2 player game (and it was a bit of a slow start because we kept picking the same icon and therefore didnt get as many shells); think it would play better with more players. Only takes up to 4 players, and kinda wonder if it would have been better taking up to 6 players or something (but again, have only played 2 player so far so not an expert). It’s light, and fun, and pretty evocative of combing through sand at a beach.
