A fun family game that changes every time you play.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I have over a 100 board games and love co-op games the best. Either we all win or we all lose. This is a nice fun addition to my collection. I love that you have different quests each time so even though the final goal of finding the wolf cubs is the same, how you get there involves some extra planning. We play with ages 6-72, and so far it's a hit with every age group.

Great Family Game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I tried this out with my husband and our 6yo son, and it was wonderful. No reading is required, which means that any person who can understand the concept can enjoy playing without having to read. We all enjoyed the way a day consists of multiple turns for each person rather than a long span of time for each person. Meaning there is not an excessive amount of waiting for your turn while other players make all of their moves. Each type of playable character has their own fun benefit, and each type has an option for a non-sexualized male or female presenting pawn. While the instructions seemed complicated to read, the game is delightfully uncomplicated to play. It is simple while still remaining interesting and involved, with seemingly good replay value. We were pleased with the quality of the board and pieces provided, as well as the nice inclusion of ziplock bags for storage. We’re looking forward to trying the other challenges and discovering more of the game the next time we play.

Great for my 6 year old

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is a fantastic game. Exactly what I was looking for to introduce my 5 and 6 year old to fantasy board games. It is a little too involved for my 5 year old to stay engaged, but that could just be him. But he does love saving the wolf puppies! My 6 year old loves doing the different scenarios with me. We did them all in our first weekend with the game. We even did a game where we played out all 10 scenarios in one game. Definitely a good balance allowing for 1 adult to keep the game alive while younger players aren't as efficient with their moves. Nice variety in the 4 playable characters.

Good game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Good game! We play with my 5-year daughter without any problems. Winning all the time so far. There are four characters with slightly different abilities and 10 tasks you can choose. Recommend for 5-6 old children!

Great especially with younger players

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Good game if you are looking for something the entire family can play together when there are younger players. Rescuing pups was a great reason to be adventuring and even the youngest player felt like they were contributing with the cooperative nature along with the easiness of playing any of the characters.

Great Intro to the Original

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Fun cooperative game to play with the kids. So many similar things to the older version, but much simpler and easier to play with kids.

A Fulfilling Experience

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I own and have played Legends of Andor, the original game. I was immediately interested in this family version as my kids are a bit young to play the original game yet. I think the Brands did an amazing job with this game. There are actually some mechanisms that I wanted to transfer to the original game. (i.e. defeating an enemy pushes back the end game instead of rushing it forward). It is a great family game and actions can be inconsequential enough that if your 4 year old just wants to discover fog tokens the whole game, they can and you still have a good chance of winning. I rated this game an 8/10 on BGG and would recommend it to any one of my friends.
