Mission Deep Sea in 3 Mins

In this followup to the cooperative card game The Crew, players work together to search for the lost continent of Mu. This new adventure takes your crew deep down into the abyss on a search for the fabled sunken land. How far you get depends on how well you work together as a team. Card by card, trick by trick, your search party will discover the challenges that lie ahead and forge a path to Mu.

This new version of The Crew has the same innovative cooperative trick-taking mechanic as the original game, but with some exciting new surprises! While communication between your crew members is severely limited by your submerged state, it is also critical to your success; finding the hidden land in the murky depths depends not only on winning tricks, but also on carefully negotiating the order in which they are won. If things don't go as planned, you might just be able to salvage the operation. But it will take near flawless execution and perhaps a little luck to finally reach Mu.

An Improvement

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

If you've played the first Crew game, then this is a step up as it's a bit easier to mix up the game due to the new little card system. If you haven't played the first one, then this is a good place to start, it's just a better system. If you enjoy trick-taking card games, then this coop version is the superior game for sure.

Happy middle schooler!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Our family loves this game! Even keeps my middle school son at the table! We are big fans of trick taking games, but sometimes the kids struggle to win. But with this we are all in it together so the kids are invested in playing and it’s a genuine challenge for the adults too!

Fantastic game. Only gripe is the rulebook is a bit convoluted. A lot of things are easy to miss because they're notated off to the side. Leading some reference questions difficult to answer. Definitely a game where you need the right group of people to play by the no talking rules.

Love the theme and mechanics. Wonderful art. Definitely great for family and friends who want something a little different in a co-op game

Great Game For the Right Group

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Great game for the right group. I play this with people who really like puzzles and people who don't assign blame to themselves or others. Players who don't grasp how to approach the game can have a difficult time and feel like they let the group down. With the right group the game is fantastic.

Wow

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I got this game because it was like $10 and everyone says they like it but holy cow. It was way better than I expected. The first time I opened and played it we played for almost 2 hours straight. This is at a trick-taking game (think bridge or spades) but you work together to help certain players win (or not win) specific tricks. Very simple design but extremely fun. This belongs in everyone's collection.

One of my favorite trick taking games.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

We don’t play a lot of trick taking games although everytime we play a new one I’m a big fan. This is up there as one of my favorites, it’s a clever take of trick taking making it cooperative and with limited communication. Bit versions of the Crew are great but if you are going for one I’ll recommend you this one. It also works surprisingly well at 2p, which it was surprising.
