The Continent after the Conjunction of the Spheres isn't a safe place anymore. Magic came to the world, and with it, bloodthirsty and terrifying monsters! Now, five competing witcher schools begin training their adepts.
Become a Witcher - face dangerous beasts, and create your own story in the Old World!
• Explore the Vast Continent - Visit numerous cities, and venture into the dangerous wild! Exploration and Event cards let you experience exciting adventures and quests firsthand, putting you through many difficult moral choices!
• Fight Terrible Monsters - Follow beast trails; gain Action cards to develop your skills, and learn new combat techniques; and finally survive, by creating combos of attacks, dodges, and witcher signs to withstand an onslaught of destruction!
• Become a Legend - Fight for the honor and recognition of your School. Kill monsters, beat other witchers in tavern brawls, and develop your trophy-hunting ability to become the best witcher in the Old World!
The game includes a Solo Mode that allows for a solitaire adventure on the Continent.
The deluxe edition includes 28 monster miniatures, 1 closed tavern miniature, and 5 plastic scoring tokens not found in the standard version.

Lives up to the “big box†title
Just received this item last week and holy cow is there a lot in that box. The minis are incredibly detailed and intricate, the art style is beautiful, and the game in itself is incredibly fun to play. I’ll be looking for the expansions soon, and it was definitely a worthwhile purchase for the massive Witcher fan in me.

Brief Review of The Witcher: Old World (Deluxe Edition)
I played this game once at GenCon with my son and we both enjoyed it. I bought the deluxe edition to get the showy models. The game is a lot of fun: it plays quickly turn by turn, presents different kinds of challenges, and accommodates well different numbers of players. The art is very attractive. Also, the monster models are actually useful in the game.

Fantastic game with clever combat (your deck is your life pool and you discard cards from your deck as you take hits). Interesting exploration & adventure, and great solo mode experience with no extra maintenance.

Simply Amazing.
My game group immediately jumped at the I.P. and well, the learn and teach are pretty easy as well. Some little things that we missed the first go-round, but it's become a new favorite at our table.
