Reeves Rails quickly established lucrative train routes from the Atlantic to the Mississippi and the company's future is bright. But greedy rail barons are looking at Thaddeus' growing rail empire and thinking about how they can take it away.
As the years have rolled along, Reeves Rails has continued to grow and thrive. Your new train company is ready to take part in this remarkable industry. Possibility and fortune shimmer off the paint of your newly purchased steam engines and this new express network should make all the difference. Satisfied, you open the newspaper and read the headlines from out west. . .
Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West finally gives you the chance to step into the story of your favorite train game and explore the imagination of Rob Daviau, Matt Leacock, and Alan R. Moon. You will embark on a journey across twelve games, managing your own North American railway company to wealth and fortune in a campaign full of adventures.
Completing your tickets will remain your primary goal, but you will need to develop other skills if you hope to overcome the unexpected events and your resourceful rivals. Game after game, route after route, you will continuously fill your vault with earnings. As the story progresses, you will open frontier boxes that will unlock new rules, content, and many more surprises.
Like previous installments in the series, this game can be learned very quickly but will provide much a more immersive and narrative experience that should please every fan of the franchise.
At the end of 12 game of the Legacy campaign, you will have transformed your game into a unique copy that you can continue playing for a lifetime.

Another fun Legacy experience!
My family and I are 4 games in, and this is proving to be a very fun Legacy game experience! We're playing with the maximum supported 5 players, across a variety of ages. If you're a fan of Legacy games (and even more-so if you're also a fan of TTR), check this out!

Such a fun legacy game!
We started playing immediately upon receiving the game and really are enjoying the experience! Love all the surprises that are showing up in the game!

A Good Legacy Game, a Great Ticket to Ride Sequel
Big fan of how this game is turning out. Bought it for my mom, who enjoys lighter board games like the OG Ticket, and she is loving it so far. It’s also been a lot of fun for the hardcore board gamers playing with her! Without spoiling any content, the unboxing and legacy materials are fun and thematic and the new twists on the game add some dimension (without being too complicated). The plot isn’t as engaging as, say, Pandemic Legacy, but the actual gameplay had us playing back to back sessions the day we opened it! Highly recommend for fans of legacy games or lighter board games.

Great Legacy Game
So far I've played through about 1/2 the campaign. The game starts similar to the base Ticket to Ride games and slowly grows in complexity after the completion of each round. The buffs and bonuses seem to be well balanced, each game a different person wins/ loses. My group is always looking forward to game night so that we can see what happens next. Get this game if you enjoy Ticket to Ride. We love playing in a group of 5 but it's balanced enough to be a couples game. 5 out of 5. So good I picked up another copy for a Christmas present.

Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West is a locomotive that doesn't slow down.
This game is fantastic!!! I played it at GenCon in 2023 and had to pick it up. Before GenCon I hadn't played it since 2006. We had recently been given the much simpler Ticket to Ride: San Francisco, so the family was familiar with the game. The family all love this new game and we are excited to expand westward, growing our rail companies. Great gift for the family!

Great competitive legacy game
Pros: - Beautiful design, all of the components and storage are gorgeous - Easy to start playing if you already know Ticket to Ride - Fun new game elements, there's enough variety over the course of the campaign to keep things fresh - Great legacy game to play with kids (my 8 year old has enjoyed it) - It's competitive...very competitive. Cons: - First few games are very short, especially if you are only playing with 2-3 players - Storytelling isn't as complex as games like Pandemic Legacy - It's competitive...very competitive. We've had a great time playing it!
