Legendary Encounters: Alien Covenant Expansion

While a large chunk of this expansion works with just the base game, you need the first expansion to get full use of this one. Adds missions and characters from the movie, but even better for variety is the new villain avatar up for use!

Maybe I’m partial to anything Alien but I love this game and this expansion gives me more ways to play.

It never ends with the xenomorphs. New expansion, new aliens to deal with. While not quite as big as the previous expansion, it still adds enough content to keep you on your toes

If you love Legendary Encounters: Alien, and you already have the first expansion to it, this is a great pickup you won't regret. The game is already incredible, and this expansion offers more of the same in the best way - more mechanics, more characters, more objectives, more enemies, etc to mix and match with your existing sets. If you liked the Covenant movie, the objective set and cards are all very thematic and fun in how they evoke the story and feel of the movie. If you didn't love the movie, that's okay - the actual mechanics of how the objectives and heroes/enemies work are actually very fun and feel unique and different to what we've seen before. There's also a huge upgrade to the Queen Mother mode introduced in the first expansion, letting you play against your friends as a boss mode form of David. Do note, though, that you CANNOT play this mode with just this expansion and the core set - it requires cards from the first expansion to be functional, which is kind of a bummer for people who don't have that. All in all though, a great addition to the game at a reasonable price. A must-have for fans of the game who want more variety.

I love this expansion, but I'm not sure that it's worth the price if you're not a regular player of the game. The variables it adds are really interesting, but not necessary to feel like the game is complete, unless you're a huge fan of the movies.
