The badass.
I didn't have much chance to play the games. But I have a fight agaisnt the Necromancer last weekend. Just found out a really sick combo between these cards. Take 2 action points to search and 1 to use. The 4+ is really easy to roll. And he keeps taking every hero in my party in an itchy way.

fun dynamics
super fun expansion that can really change the dynamics of what you might be used to playing the base game and druid/warrior expansions. one thing of note that we have found is to increase the difficulty of winning by upping the monster/hero count by one for each expansion in the set as it was sometimes to quick of games otherwise.

Different card quality
Love this game and to play with my kids. We have base game and one expansion. The reason for the two stars is due to the cards being a different quality than the other two games. Had to sleeve the cards because just by looking and/or feel you know which are the new cards. This was very disappointing. Funny thing is, the cards from this set are “better quality†than the base and first expansion but that difference created problems.

New Material
I love the addition of the new cards; however the material that the cards from this set are different from the other sets. You can visually tell and also feel the difference. Maybe, not a big deal if you’re using card sleeves.

This is perfect.
This is an amazing add on to add to an already amazing game. This is a must have! Two beautiful illustrated classes, it really changes the gameplay.

Most card-based activities border on repetition, due to the limited amount of outcomes that occur during a single round. However, all of the games I have bought off Miniature Market never cease to entertain. Unstable Unicorns, with its many subsequent add-ons, provides variably low-stakes fun for a large group, whereas Here to Slay, offers natural competition without opposition. I own the two expansions including the Warriors, Druids, Necromancers, and Berserkers, along with an additional pack unfortunately not easily available through the main site. I purchased off eBay an installment that effectively doubled the number of monsters, introduced Sorcerers as a further class of heroes, and contained a unique Party Leader devoid of any categorization. Dedicated thusly to the compelling and reciprocative gameplay, I purchased a duplicate of the original, removing the modifier-, magic-, item-, and challenge-oriented elements in order to heighten the levels of interactivity even further. It requires a decent amount of shuffling so that the different groups do not separately precede each other; regardless, the effort has received rather unanimous approval. This most recently released collection boosted the enjoyment and cohesiveness of Here to Slay with ease. The debut of new enemies providing complicated bonuses, allies engaging intricate requirements, equipment granting miscellaneous buffs, and spells extending powerful effects all contributed heavily to upping the complexity in interesting ways. I had preordered, but the wait for its launching justified itself with its components, and the actual delivery occurred, if memory serves properly, overnight. In conclusion, I cannot express a more heartfelt recommendation for another tabletop form of amusement and distraction. I have shown Here to Slay to my own friend group of all men, my girlfriend and her family, my extended relatives, our house guests, and many others. Nobody, despite social standing, ulterior preference, or general personality, dislikes the journey found within the assorted members of Here to Slay. Buy and revel, fellow adventurers!

The card abilities and use within the base game were really fun and a great addition. My only issue was the quality of the cards compared to the base game and Druids and Warriors expansion. With this expansion, the cards were noticeably more flimsy and thinner.
