Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze

If you’re looking to get into Unmatched for the first time, this is it! If you’re a veteran Unmatched player looking for your next set, this is it! TTA knocks it out of the park with all its content; especially co-op adventures. We can now play Unmatched with our loved ones in a team, fighting for a common goal instead of fighting against each other. The two villains, six minions, and random setup variations in the two maps that come with the set offer a new adventurous experience every time. This also serves as a new playground for all the other characters from older sets, especially the ones who might’ve been a bit weaker against the general roster of heroes to have a chance to shine against these monsters. And if you’re just looking for four new amazing fighters, well, here you are. Tesla, Annie, Jill, and Bat are all very fun fighters that fit in this set very well. All the abilities are new and unique, but I absolutely love Nikola Tesla’s. I love having multiple decisions to make every single combat interaction based on how well I could manage my two coils; it’s like a mini-game that reminds me of Beowulf's rage mechanic interactions with the cards. I also love the nuance of Jill Trent’s ability. It is such a dynamic gadget that makes you play some matchups very differently compared to others. It reminds me of Jekyll & Hyde’s ability for when you have to make a decision at the start of every turn, but it plays very differently. This is also one of the very well-balanced sets in terms of in-box matchups of the heroes and heroines. And they also have a very balanced matchup spread against the rest of the Unmatched roster. And to bring everything all together, TTA has beautiful art, same as every other Unmatched set. Overall, Tales to Amaze is an amazing bang for your buck for all the replayability, top-notch design, and quality production. Especially with all the discounted opportunities that Miniature Market offers. 10/10 always recommend, have fun!

It slays

Great mix of old a new … the new characters add more variety and the new coop mode feels fresh and grounded in the great mechanics of the unmatched system. Pleasantly surprised!

The box itself provides a lot of value. You get 4 new characters that can be played in competitive as well. 2 villains, a double sided board, and a lot of replayability with mixing and matching minions. The game plays quick and is not fiddly at all. This is easily be the best introduction to the unmatched system for any newcomers. The Components feel nice and unmatched always does a good job of making everything fit back in the box with their tray design. Highly recommended.

Amazing coop experience took my wife’s favorite BG unmatched and made it an even more enjoyable experience for us to play together can’t wait to see how they continue to expand this line of products cause we’ll most certainly be buying them all

Very pleased with Miniaturemarket. Website is easy to navigate and purchase process was very smooth. As for the game, I have not played yet but I'm very impressed with the production value. Components are great quality and what stands out is how functional the insert is. Most of the time, I ended up printing my own insert to house the components neatly for easy setup and breakdown. The insert that comes with this game is setup to do just that!

I love this game it has everything you could want from an action game! My favorite hero is Nikola tesla but you also get three others including one of the first super heroes ( no not Superman)! The prices look amazing and the ufo has green translucent plastic that makes it look so thematic. It uses a card system to control the bad guys and the good guys are compatible with the other games but so far the villains in it are not compatible with other sets UNLESS you use them in this game itself. I heavily recommend this game for a holiday gift even fit kids!
