Vallejo Model Color Paint: Burnt Red

A range of 218 acrylic colors, very highly pigmented, formulated for models and miniatures. Model Color is indicated for all surfaces, and especially formulated to adhere to plastics and polyesters.
The water based formula of Model Color has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes. Errors can be corrected immediately with water or alcohol Model Color dries quickly to a matte, even and waterproof finish. Exact drying time depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment, on the surface which has been painted, and on the thickness of the paint layer - although the colors are dry to the touch within minutes, the water content keeps on evaporating, and the paint does not acquire its true permanence until several weeks after application.
Model Color are presented in a 17ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

High Quality Low Cost
This paint is amazing color, rich pigments, easy application. I love the dropper bottles, one bottle will last forever, and all at being the cheapest quality hobby paint you can find. I just wish it was in stock in more stores.

An Excellent Base For Any Red Scheme
This is a very deep, dark red, veering into the brown spectrum, and I'm finding it makes a really solid foundation to build brighter red schemes from. I'm currently painting a Privateer Press Kommander Sorscha model, and I used this as the base color for her skirt and cape to set it apart from the brighter red armor and it makes a perfect contrast. Definitely add this to the collection to make painting red easier!
