Vallejo Model Color Paint: Clear Orange

A range of 218 acrylic colors, very highly pigmented, formulated for models and miniatures. Model Color is indicated for all surfaces, and especially formulated to adhere to plastics and polyesters.
The water based formula of Model Color has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes. Errors can be corrected immediately with water or alcohol Model Color dries quickly to a matte, even and waterproof finish. Exact drying time depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment, on the surface which has been painted, and on the thickness of the paint layer - although the colors are dry to the touch within minutes, the water content keeps on evaporating, and the paint does not acquire its true permanence until several weeks after application.
Model Color are presented in a 17ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

Vallejo always seems disappointing
Reaper goes on smooth, Citadel is like a dream but every Vallejo paint I try is a disappointment. Also in no way is this a clear orange. It's orange, flat, dull, spreads poorly, streaky, uneven, dries faster than others. Worked better wet but looks like crap. Was hoping it'd be a little sheer or like a wash or contrast paint. It's a flat solid. Just looks and feels like a poor quality. Tried it dry, tried it wet brush. The reaper one I got is similar but nice. Can't recommend Vallejo. Live and learn.
