Nice convenient mix

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Slows drying time and adds a little flow. Good for a variety of things and is nice especially for a drier climate where paint drys almost instantly.

Game changer

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I discovered this stuff recently quite by accident, having gotten a small bottle in another kit, and I was blown away. I've been painting for years, but have always struggled with mixing consistencies for glazing, or blending. This stuff does most of the heavy lifting for me now.

Good value on a versitile medium.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This medium is very good at thinning darker colors without causing them to becoming runny like an ink or viscous like some company's washes. Painting in the dry Arizona air, I don't experience much of the slow drying effect that I read other people report. This medium also combines especially well with pearlescent mediums to give surfaces a metallic appearance without mixing in metallic paint. I'm also very happy to have found a source for the larger size bottles, which a steal compared to the smaller dropper.

Very affordable way to create your own glazes

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Glaze Medium is similar to Matt Medium with a few different qualities. It is better suited for creating glazes so you can slowly build up your colors. It also has the added affect of extending the drying time of your paints. It can also be mixed with dry pigments to create your own colors. These 60ml bottles from Vallejo are a tremendous value over their 17ml counterparts. Miniature Market has a great price of the smaller bottles and the fact that these are only $0.60 more is amazing.
